At the drawing and sketching classes, the idea is to understand the fundamental principles of visual art and design. Starting from free hand sketching and basic drawing, the shading and gradation is incorporated. With rendering, one gets a fair idea of form, expression and affirmation. A detailed study of still life, foliage and landscape is encouraged. A lot of exposure is given to study from life and nature during the outdoor sessions. Finally, the student gets the formal perception and implementation to create a composition.
